On January 6, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Sports unveiled
the New Action Plan for School Safety, officializing the announcement on the ban of the TikTok platform for approximately one year in Albania. This restrictive measure, as argued, was based on the opinions gathered during consultations with 65,000 parents from schools nationwide, aimed at
combating violence, bullying, and digital threats against students.
