The Digital Services Act has been in force for the Very Large Platforms (VLOPs) since August 2023 and for all platforms since 17 February 2024. The aim of this report is to focus on the effects of the DSA on our work in preventing and countering online hate speech. Even though the DSA has only been in force since a year – at least for the VLOPs – this report is a chance for us to present a baseline of experiences so far that can be revisited annually.
